Stickie Studio

Most questions are the same one: where did my sticker go? The short answer is that it is in Messages, but not where you would expect — see below. If that is not it, write to us and a person will reply.

Where your stickers are

Your stickers do not appear in the system Stickers drawer — the one holding Memoji and the stickers iOS makes from your photos. That drawer only takes sticker packs that were built in advance, and yours are made as you go.

They live under Stickie Studio's own entry in Messages:

  1. Open any conversation in Messages
  2. Tap the + button, then scroll down
  3. Tap Stickie Studio
Do this once: press and hold Stickie Studio in that list and drag it to the top. It will sit in the + menu from then on, and you will not have to scroll again.

There is also a quicker route that skips the menu entirely: open Stickie Studio, tap any sticker to copy it, then paste it into any chat.

The subject came out wrong

One tap usually selects a part of a subject — an arm rather than a person — because that is genuinely ambiguous from a single point. Two or three taps down the subject normally gets the whole thing. Switch to Remove and tap to cut a piece back out.

The outline on screen is the real cut line, from the same model that makes the sticker, so what you see is what you will get.

My sticker count looks wrong

You get five free stickers, which are for the life of the app rather than per day. After that they come in packs of 25. A sticker is only counted when one is successfully made — failed attempts and "nothing found there" cost you nothing.

If you bought a pack and the count did not move, we can fix it directly. Open Settings in the app, tap your Device ID to copy it, and send it to us with your receipt. That ID is the only way we can find your balance — there are no accounts, so we cannot look you up by email.

Nothing happens when I make a sticker

Cutting the subject out runs on our servers, not on your phone, so the app needs an internet connection. A video sticker takes roughly 15 to 30 seconds; photos are much faster. On a weak connection it can take longer or fail — it is worth trying again on Wi-Fi before assuming something is broken.

Deleting a sticker

Press and hold any sticker in your library and choose Delete. Deleting a sticker does not give the credit back, because the work of making it has already happened.

Privacy

Your photos and videos are sent to our server, used to produce the cutout, and deleted immediately. They are never stored and never shared. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Still stuck

Write to ysanghavi1+stickiestudio@gmail.com. Including your Device ID from Settings, and what you were doing when it went wrong, gets you a useful answer much faster.
